Well, stitching is usually the easy part ( although Nicola's charts are challenging :-) ), but I was dreading the finishing part.
Still, having done my Friday chores etc, decided to have a go. Nicola's instructions are excellent and the stitching does fit the chairs, although one has to pull! And pull!
It is not as perfect a job as Nicola does, but for me... well, I am really happy with them.
They look perfect to me, Elly, very exclusive..

Marvelous work! You made it look easy. :D
ReplyDeleteThe chairs looks really great, Elly, congrats on finishing them. They look wonderful in your room box.
ReplyDeleteLove the cat too, just keep him away from your chairs, but I am sure you have trained him well.
Wat een prachtige stoeltjes zijn dat geworden.

Thank you all for the compliments ( sitting blushing on my sofa here...). I should also thank Susan S ( UK) for her help acquirung the chairs, because without her, I could not have done this .
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteI have just found your blog through Karin and can't wait to read through it.
Best wishes

What an amazing job you have done, the needlework is so fine and it does justice to the fabulous chairs. No wonder you need a break before starting on the other two.
ReplyDeleteStunning work Elly! And beautiful chairs. I drool over David Booth's work regularly but will never be able to afford it. Those chairs are deserving of your lovely stitching. Hugs Sandie
