What I am working on

In December/Jan I had started working on a witches' class . I had to leave the project for some weeks, however ,as I had boldly decided I needed new flooring in my bedrooms - my craftroom is one of the two ( meant : movers in , all stuff out, new flooring in, movers in, all stuff in again, finding stuff back😮 ). But now I have started to put it together.

Here was where I had got to when I had to take a break:

The basic instructions came from an old issue of DHMS (back from 2012) , a project called "" A Witches'  Hovel, by Kastle Kelm Miniatures, The fireplace is resin and I bought it from Melody Jane .

I did add some more things, but here is a picture of some nasty-minded toadstools I planted today. as far as I remember I bought them from Loredana Tonetti on Etsy some years ago. I love them! Those Monday Morning Faces!!! 😀😀

In the meantime kitties are loving life, me being with them most of the time since I                                                                      retired 🙌....

Sometimes they play games on my Ipad....😁

And sometimes they are just happy lazy babies.... 😽😽

or lazy and warm in windowsill...😽

  1. Congratulations on your retirement!!! Yeah!!!

Your project is coming along very nicely. I like those toadstools, too. You're right to call them Monday faces. Elise

    1. Thank you Elise, I am loving every minute. All that time that I can use for whatever I want, is such luxury ! I am steadily working away on my class right now, every day something is added. Going to show more pics soon.

    1. You bet I did have help moving , Elga! I hired professional movers to get things out , set up in storage and move in again; they also set up the furniture again, even those Ikearacks, so that I could just unpack the boxes and move stuff back in. Flooring was also done by the firm where I bought it, no DIY for me. Less of a headache and more efficient on time, too.
Today I added some "spider webs" ( hair nets) and stuck some pesky flying beasties on, need another big fat spider from Georgia Marfels. Probably goung to rob her stall coming next Arnhem fair or it might be Rheda.

  3. Congratulations on being a retired 'lady of leisure'! Now you will find you have so much to do that you wondered how you ever had time to work lol! Love the photos of the kitties and seeing them get on so well together, and will enjoy seeing progress on the witches roombox.
