Recently I suddenly realized that I had several empty videocases laying around wasting their time and doing nothing productive, so I decided that they are ideal for small projects-in-progress. Since I can hardly ever finish any project in one session and need to tidy everything up before the cats gets hold of it, I am always on the lookout for easy solutions. Well , here is the latest.
I know, everyone knows this already, but I am rather happy with them!
Thats a good idea, Elly, I am always looking for boxes to keep things together (and separated from other projects), also good for travelling..

you're very lucky that your WIPs fit into video cases. I put mine into see-thru plastic shoe boxes ....or occasionally large boxes.

Not everything fits into these small boxes :-) But especially small projects which scatter around easily are very good to rehome temporarily here, I think. Even needles which loosen themselves can be found back in these boxes.
ReplyDeleteBut, of course, I also use those ubiqitous big see-through shoeboxes and drawers for bigger things.
Cheers,
Elly
Great idea Elly - I see what you mean now! Perfect for small needlework project or quarter scale projects. Should imagine they'd be useful for clothing projects too. Great for packing things in for travelling and they can be put into larger containers if needed so a variety of things can be packed and retrieved easily. Good thinking!
