Today I received an e-mail from Ilonka ( the student following the Holmium- treated patients), that the little lump recently excised from little Floris is a trichoblastoma( a benign cutaneous hair follicle tumor). Nothing to do with nasty sarcomas. I hope to receive the slide soon, as I would love to make sure :-)So he is still in remission - there is nothing at the original site , where he received the radiation treatment. I am really glad that I could do this, and very happy about the doctors of the veterinary faculty , who have given the little guy a new lease of life.
