The books and scroll I bought from "The Miniature Scene of York ", who have excellent service, btw.
The rat is by Georgia Marfels ( of course) , who also made pesky flies and wasps, caught in the spiderwebs. She also made some other books, will photograph them shortly.
Hello Elly,
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific setting. your accessories are just perfect, and I love the rat.
Big hug
Giac
Hi Giac, thank you ! It is actally a lot of fun working on this, as you can imagine. I must have more idiotic/funny things hanging around here in my house, but will find them, no worry.
DeleteGeorgia actually makes fantastic work, she is a nice lady, too, with a wicked sense of humour
Cheers,
Elly
Super cute! I love the way you did the smoke. :D
ReplyDeleteThank you Brae ! It is actually hair nets, that a friend from the UK sent me :) . Very handy stuff. .
ReplyDeleteI was trying to figure the smoke also! I love it! I guess you made it stiff first?
ReplyDeleteThank you! No, I didn't, actually, I put in some drops of glue where I would attach it and then (with tweezers and my finger) pressed it in place. Then spayed a bit with spray glue, which stays sticky till kingdom comes if you are lucky- here is usually works fine.
