He had a very nasty ...Hi Angela,yes,he is pleased !<br />He had a very nasty sarcoma, which would have surely killed him by now if the radiation therapy hadn't been given, as an additional treatment after his operation.Most cats with this tumor die very quickly after the operation/diagnosis , or have to be euthanized soon.<br />With this treatment he is a happy playful kitty,and even if the tumor might recur- which, basically, we do not expect,but it is not unthinkable- we have given him a lot of extra(and healthy) lifetime. Was he radiated for thyroid problems?<br />This is what my cat has, radiation therapy isn't easy to get here but he would never had coped with being away from me for so long. He gets stressed if I am away from the house for more than a few hours.
